They take up the warmer water better and if the flowers are somewhat closed, the hot water will open them.
I just saw Ina Garten put hydrangeas in really hot tap water, is this really good for them? Why?

You always see Ina clipping Hydranges and using for floral arangements right!! But what type are the ones she uses that are white. And ive seen her use a lime-white colored one alson. Would love to know what type or name these are. Any help would be helpfull. Brian
