Non blooming hydrangea?

I have a large, good looking hydrangea but it has not bloomed yet. Was planted by previous owner. Will it bloom later or do I need to do something to help it? Is in full sun and gets plenty of water. leaves look good and healthly.

Non blooming hydrangea?
I planted a hydrengea last summer and it did not bloom until this year. Hydrengeas should not be placed in direct sunlight. They need to be in partial shade.
Reply:put a tree between the hydrangea and the sun. They like some shade. To get good blooms, fertilize in the fall. This is when they do a lot of the nutrient pull from the ground that make beautiful blooms in the spring.

But, at this point you will need to wait until next year for blooms.
